Cashing a Check for Existing Company/New Customer

How to cash a check for an existing company and a new customer?

Run the check through the check reader and follow the next steps:

Once Routing and Account numbers are captured select Search Company with this Number.
Step 1: Review the information from the existing company such as the check image (you may scan additional images, update company or re-scan check image).
Step 2: Review the company activity on the nationwide network or store network and re-verify the bank information if need be by clicking on “Re-Verify Bank Info” to see the latest account status.
Step 3: Select the Add New Customer button to add a new customer
Enter Customer ID to verify its activity within our network (i.e. See how many checks cashed in the last 3 days if any or if the customer is going from store to store cashing checks).
If the customer has a TX ID you may verify identity with the Department of Transportation by entering ID > Selecting TX for state > and clicking on Cross Verify ID -or- Swiping ID through Check Reader.
Enter customer’s phone number and click on Verify Phone Number to get details on the phone line (i.e. EmagineNET QuickCheck does verify some cell phone numbers).
If not entered automatically by phone number verification, enter customer name, address, ID, SSN, email, etc to add a customer. (You may add a custom commission to this customer, even a secondary ID or profile if created).
It’s time to scan a copy of the customer’s ID for your reference by clicking on Add Customer and clicking OK to prompt window.
Next, take a picture of the customer by clicking OK during camera prompt window.
Finally, scan the right index finger during the fingerprint prompt window.
From the Summary Screen, you may review and update any details on the company or customer.
Once ready, click on Cash Check for this Customer.
Review the EmagineNET Network OFAC/SDN Verification to ensure there are no matches
Enter the amount and any other notes or special commission rate you may want to edit.
Complete transaction by clicking on “Complete Transaction”
Note: You may cash more checks or charge other purchases, rescan check images, edit amount or check number, in addition to commission rates prior to completing the transaction.
